Welcome to the Community Services Department homepage.  Community Services is a multi-disciplined department consisting of three divisions with close ties to the Fire Prevention Bureau.  Together, the Community Services Department employs twenty (20) full-time staff members. The primary purpose of the Community Services Department is to protect the public health, welfare, and safety of our customers, through enforcement of building, health, and property maintenance code requirements.  We also actively seek to support neighborhood based programs that provide for the improvement of our diverse community.
