American
English
American English is simply the best Beatle tribute story of our
time. At the inception of the band, they were voted “number one” by
thousands of Beatle fans as winners of sound a like contests at
Beatlefest® for three consecutive years. They have also won Illinois
Entertainer of the Year and have been voted "Best Tribute Band"
three of the last four years by their fans in the Chicagoland area.
Their demand here and abroad, coupled with their spectacular fan
base, has anchored them into a professional setting, and launched
them into larger venues and theatres worldwide.
7th
Heaven
Life
long friends committed to leaving it all out on the stage, NTD
Records recording artists 7th heaven boasts these and other
incredible accomplishments. The lead singer, winner of the British
TV version of American Idol known as Pop Stars, was brought in
straight from Northern Ireland. He owns a gold disc on Jive records.
The band has set attendance records at major night clubs across the
tri-state region. Record sales nearing 30,000 units sold and digital
offerings are available on iTUNES, Amazon, and such. This is the
premier Chicago festival act according to prominent talent buyers in
Illinois. The critically acclaimed website "Barstar" refers to 7th
Heaven as one of the 3 best bands in Chicago. (They couldn't or
wouldn't pick just one.)
Fortunate
Sons
The Fortunate Sons were formed to bring the ultimate
C.C.R. experience to the stage. Each member was chosen to portray
the playing style and appearance of Creedence in their prime.
Drummer Jeff Philippe as “Cosmo” Clifford, bassist Dave Greene as
Stu Cook, and guitarist Travis Bird as Tom Fogerty bring the swamp
and the stomp to the stage, just as rough and rocking as the
originals. Blazing over it all is the heart-stopping guitar and
howling vocals of Jed Taylor, restoring John Fogerty’s bayou-blues
to their former glory. Using original vintage gear and instruments,
accurate costumes, and spot-on musical ability, The Fortunate Sons
instantly conjure up the full experience of C.C.R.’s music.
Frye Daddy
A band is not merely a collection of individuals. Its
essential character must be for the whole to exceed the sum of the
parts. When the right people get together, be it in music or sports
or business or marriage or sex or whatever, a kind of spiritual
fusion takes place. This fusion cannot be bought or forced or
manufactured....... No one knows how this magic happens. But when it
does, we feel the presence of something divine and everyone who's
there knows it. Cherish the chemistry of great bands wherever you
find it. You're on to something big.
